RWC Fighting Techniques

Congratulations on completing the first training packet. Now you get to move on to Course Two: RWC fighting Techniques. Here you begin to learn all about guild fighting. Below are some of the techniques you will be covering...you'll also need to have read RWC 3.0 war rules that was sent to you earlier. Course Two: RWC Fighting Techniques.

1) Basic combat DM, RM and also the POW Prisoner of War match is fought with guild dice. The Rank/dice �Table is as follows:

2) Hit Table: This is used for scoring in an RWC type Match

15 - 19 - 1 HIT

35 - 39 - 5 HIT
40 - 6 HIT

3) Logs of Matches: The proctor and ONLY the proctor is to log this match and submit it to the War Mailing String I.E.: Guild Commanders (participating in the war), the WC (RWC War chancellor) for review. Others can log for their own records and usually there is a back up logger for if the proctor punts.

4) Terms for RWC Matches: Terms are the same as using 2D20 combat however with this added : "Guild dice to 20 Rounds."

5) Completion of this course: In this training course you are to complete the following: One Mock wartime DM, one mock POW match.

Prisoner of War Matches (will be covered further in Training course 3):

1) All POW matches are fought using RWC Guild Dice.

2) POW Matches go to a final score of 20 rounds, Healing allowed after Round 10 is completed, between the 11th and 20th rounds before the fighter takes his/her strike.

3) The loser states in their profile" POW of the winning guild" And once a POW to the enemy guild, they can't heal or fight in the said war or any further wars till the war they were POWed in is completed or a successful jailbreak is attempted. ( 96 hours after the time of match start )

4) Terms are as follows: Remember to always state after opening the log, what war this match is taking place for and the date and time the match is being fought on. Example: This match is a PoW Match for the Guild 1 Vs Guild 2 War on 10/13/97 at 12:00 AM EST

a) POW Match to 20 rounds
b) No Selfies
c) 10 Minute punt rule
d) 1 Minute action rule, 1 minute action rule per healer in effect during the war.
f) Healers shall be allowed after the 10th round is completed and between rounds 11 - 20th before fighter takes his/her strike.
e) Open Dungeon Policy ~ This means that you are allowed to go in and out of chat rooms so long as your profile is kept updated.

Terms for a PoW Match:

This is a Major's PoW Match for the Guild 1 vs Guild 2 War. Date: October 13, 1997. Time 12:00A EST. Guild dice to 20 rounds, Healing allowed after the 10th round through the 20th round. Healers can only be called once by the fighter and it must be before before they take thier strike. No selfies, 10 minute punt rule, 1 minute action rule, 1 minute action rule for healers. Loser must state in profile that they are a PoW of the winning guild. Open dungeon policy. Escape roll after 4 days of captivity is allowed.

Terms may also be listed as follows: This is a Major'ss PoW Match in the Guild1 vs. Guild 2 War. Date: October 13th, 1997. Time: 12:00AM EST. All Standard RWC Rules and Regulations for a Commander's PoW Match.

NOTE: This is only the basics of a POW match...you will be trained further in the next course. That will cover: escape rolls, further terms, etc.

Information on Healing as per RWC rules:

A. Healing during battle

1) The Combatant may call for Healers before they attack in any round before they take their strike.

a) POW Match: Healer may heal once during combat.

b) Death Match: Healer may heal twice during combat.

2) The Healer must perform an action before rolling their attempt to heal.

3) Each Healer has one minute to perform their healing.

a) If punted before their heal, the last Healer to heal performs additional healing in the place of the disappeared healer(s).

Example: 5 Healers equals 5 healing actions. If 2 Healers are punted, Healer 1 would heal once, Healer 2 would heal once, and Healer #3 would heal 3 times (1+1+3 = 5).

4) If the healing is successful the results take place immediately. The score is altered to show this fact immediately after the healing is accomplished and BEFORE the fighter continues the attack.

5) After all healing attempts are made or healing time has expired, the combatant may attack. Healers may leave immediately following their collective healings. I.E. wait until everyone heals before bolting out the door.
