Chalice of Sorrow

(and you thought BloodBowl was the only way to play football)

Now, why would the High Elves and the Bretonnian's be going at it on the feild of battle. They're allies, they share no common border, their histories rarely touch upon one-another. Both are bastions of order, goodness, and justice. Their kings are wise, their lands are bountiful. Each honors their Gods, and their Gods honor them...
And that is the problem. You see the High (and mighty) Elves, worship Asuryan, Isha, Kronhos, even Khaine...Asuryan created their race, and gives blessing, and new life, to their Pheonix King upon his coronation, where in he undertakes a very literal baptism by fire. And theese upstart mortals, for all their good intentions, give worship to some watery tart that go about tossing chalices at people!?
Whilst, the pious (and pompous) Brettonians rever the Lady of the Lake. The scarred sprit of their land; It is she who gave Gilles le Breton, the means with which to save their land from the largest Orc army to ever trod upon the Oldworld. She who grants her faithful with visons, prophicy, and protection. Let the treacherous Elves have their flase. The faithful of bretonnia need not their bolt throwers, their chraiots, or any of their other dishonorable contraptions. Vive Bretonnia!
And so when a Bretonnian Baron's quest leds him to the northern costs of Ulthlan, only to discover an ancient chalice...
And a High Elven Prince is sent to search for an ancient relic long lost...
