Mike and Dan's GoldenEye 007 Web Page
The Game of the Century
A quick scan of videogame and GoldenEye 007 sites reveals its legacy as a landmark in the industry, and so an explanation of the game would be completely redundant. I will simply say that it is the greatest game because of its ease of play, fantastic soundtrack, and least of all its impressive graphics.

Most important in a listing of its assets is GoldenEye's unique style as a first-person shooter, with its requirement of careful shooting and planning, as well as its tricky series of objectives, and three difficulty levels. Also admirable is its replay-ability- with 24 cheat codes, level editor (only for masters), and absolutely unbelievable multiplayer game. All of these give GoldenEye 007 an incredible buying value (now about $40 most everywhere), and guarantee its popularity for years to come.

Tips and News
It will be hard to think of things that people might need help on, and to list everything for everyone would be lengthy and boring, so I will post a few things once in a while and anyone with questions can e-mail me for answers or help.

For now, I would like to talk about the Spyder gun, (as listed in the handbook). After beating the game, it took me awhile to realize that I never found my long-awaited Spyder. I went onto the Internet only to find out that I had held and scoffed at the Spyder gun countless times- it is the nearly worthless Klobb. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I'm not sure how fresh this information is, and I don't care, I just felt like sharing that.

Interestingly, though, I also found a questionable message posted claiming the location of the Spyder gun (as it shows in your inventory) in a side room of the Facility, accessible only by a strange ritual of gunfire and explosion in the bathroom vent. It sounded genuine, and I'm hopeful through my scepticism that I only messed up in my two attempts to get to it. If you would like to know it to try for yourself, e-mail me and I will tell you.

-to beat Train on 00 Agent, you have to try to shoot Xenia as many times as you can after killing Ourumov. This gives you an extra minute and a half while Trevelyan helps Xenia into the helicopter.

-if you are having difficulty surviving on any levels with cameras, it is probably because of the special security forces that appear after you are in front of a camera for several seconds. Try to avoid being in front of them at all, but if you have to, then quickly aim for the lens to take it out with one bullet. In Bunker 2, there is a camera mounted in the ventilation shaft facing the computer room. I don't know about anyone else, but this one always gave me trouble.
