This scenario is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's great trilogy of the same name! Play Gondor which covers all the forces of good (allied with the Elves and Rohan) against your chief enemy Mordor which represents the main force of evil (allied with Harad and Rhun).

Recommended for Singleplayer games

• Cities:  27 (Gondor), 29 (Mordor)
• Govt.: Monarchy (except for Mordor and Isengard which are Fundamentalist)
• Units: Original units - including individuals.
• Wonders & Techs: (changed) all built.
• Special Rules:
  No government switching, no pollution and no techs from conquest.
