Column Name | Description |
---|---|
Move | This is rather straight forward, the name dumbed by sega for the move. I'm not into FV jargon so I don't know any. One note, some of Bahn's move are in Japanese, these aren't translated but described in basic english. ie/ 'Tetsu Hiji' I call 'Strong Elbow' while 'Dou Hiji' is named 'Fast Elbow' here. They are the same, but one KDs (talk about this later), while the second is the first in a combo. |
Motion | This is also straight forward. What do you have to do for this character to do this move ie./ How do I get Bahn to do the Tetsu Hiji? Simple, just tap +P. |
Hits/Grabs | This just describes which level the move hits or at which level a throw grabs. There are four. There's H=high (face level), M=mid-level (stomach level), and L=low (shin level). Then there's the rare A=air attack that will grab or hit in mid-air, cool huh? |
Damage | Simple. How much does this move hurt? It's based on points with all moves compared to Wolf's Giant Swing which is dubed 100 point and the most powerful single move in the game! |
Reverse |
This simply means who can reverse the move in Fighter's Megamix. There are only five characters which can reverse, and not all can reverse the same class of moves at the same levels. There is: P=Pai who can reverse High Punches, Elbows, Mid-punches (ie/ Jane's Body Blow), High Kicks, Knees, and Mid-level Kicks. K=Kage He can reverse High Punches only. A=Akira Virtua Fighter's main man is the main reverser. He reverses everything High, Mid, and Low Punches, and Kicks, Knees, Somersault Kicks, and Elbows. --whew!-- W=Wolf Wolf is a wrestler can grab you High and Mid Kicks. D=Dural Dural is the Virtua Fighter Boss. She has Pai's reversals, but not all of them. Just the ones for High Punches and Kicks. |
Escape |
All standing front throws in Fighter's Megamix are escapable! That's what this column means. If they try to throw you with ie Wolf's Giant Swing (+P+G), then you counter with +P+G. but hey, every character has at least two escapable throws leaving you in a constant guessing game. |
Recovery |
This is how long, in opinion, it take for a move it recover. Is it Not Throw Counterable (NTC), Throw Counterable (TC), Low Throw Counterable (LTC), or Big Throw Counterable (BTC). Throw counterable simply means that after blocking move, are you still close enough to throw and is there enough time to throw? If yes it's Throw Counterable. Let's compare three senarios.
|
Notes | Does this move create a special situation? Can it create a float (F), whereas it leaves you on the ground (G)? Do you change stance (S)? Or does it cause them to Stagger? Note that some moves are standing staggers, and not noted here. Any other notes are in English and easily understandable. If needed, E-mail me @ [email protected]. |
Knock Down | Does this move KD them and land them on their butts? Yes or No? Well??? |
