Kern is the home
of Shirl Ravenlock and it used to be a peaceful place until the people
of the Kern were forced to flee to Tyrsis due to the advance of the armies
of the Warlock Lord. Kern was destroyed by the Warlock Lord in The
book The
Sword Of Shannara.
