Tyrsis
Tyrsis is the
legendary stronghold that was once the home of the Buckhannahs and the
place where the border legion lies. In the first book The
Sword of Shannara the
courageous Border Legion fought the Warlock Lord's evil army of
Trolls and Gnomes
at Tyrsis and during this battle many were killed including palance Buckhannah,
the mystic Stenmin, and the gallant Dwarf Hendel. The Sword of Shannara
is now held in Tyrsis in Honor of the noble Border Legion and all who fought
and all who were killed in that notorious battle.
