This is the third and final book of
the Shannara Trilogy. In this book the Ildatch, the legendary book
of magic that once consumed the Warlock Lord, has new life. Once again
Allanon must call opon The Ohmsford Family to help prevent a threat to
civilization. Brin Ohmsford, gifted at birth with the magic of The
Wishsong,
must seal the book forever; however, the Ildatch knows
of her Journry and waits to consume her as well. Jair, Brin's Brother,
hears of his sisters fate to come from the King of the Silver River and
sets out to protect her with his magic powers to destroy.
