After opponents have opened the bidding, a jump to 2NT (although it can be a simple direct bid in no trump) by partner shows a two-suit hand, typically for the minors, but by agreement may be for the lower two unbid suits. This can be a very valuable, descriptive bid for a partnership, but keep an eye on vulnerability and level. It can also be disastrous!!
