Ranks
In the Paladins of Aetherius, a person can achieve many different ranks, with dutys that accompany each rank. All of the ranks are very important to me, and we need people to fill them very soon. The ranks are listed below.
Realm Lord- Me. The leader of the
StarCraft portion of the Paladins of Aetherius, and maintainer of
this web page. Any quesitons you have about the guild should be
directed to either me, or the Archon.
Archon- The advisor to me, and will
also help with the Ghosts and Guardians when ever needed. The
Archon is my right hand man, and will do the jobs that I can't
get around to doing.
High Templars- The advisors to the Archon and I. It is the
highest point ever attainable by a guild member. Also, the High
Templars have to be the best warriors our guild has to offer. The
High Templars must not miss a meeting when ever possible. If you
are lucky enough to attain the prestegious rank of High Templar,
E!Zadeh and I will brief you on your dutys.
Overlord-The leader of the Ghost force
who is hand picked by E!Zadeh and I. The second most important
postition ever attainable by any player in the guild, untill
either the Archon or I decides to leave the guild. It's the
Overlord's duty to train the Ghost force and determine who is
good, and stays a Ghost, or who is worse, and is moved to a
Marine. The Overlord has the choice of handpicking the Ghost
force to his demand and must keep them all on top notch
effectiveness. It is of the utmost importance that the acting
Overlord is at every meeting, and have intel reports on enemy
guilds and allied guilds available for me to reference.
Ghost- The Counter-Inteligence officers
of the guild are the Ghosts. A Marine that has all the
requirements to become a Fire bat may have the choice to become a
Ghost. The Ghost's main objective is to join enemy guilds with
fake characters and either disrupt thier actions, or gather info
on them. Like how many members, how good the guild is, and who
the bosses are. Your second objective is to search our guild for
traitors and inform E!Zadeh and I of their persence A.S.A.P. All
of the ghost must not miss a meeting when ever possible, and it's
a must to have ICQ and E!Zadeh and I on it. There can only be 5
Ghosts in out guild at one time, due to the fact that there is
only one Overlord.
Ultralisk- The master of all Guardians is
the Ultralisk, and this is the most contested job in the whole
guild. The Ultralisk will be determined by a play-off of all the
Guardians to determine the best one. After the play-off, any
guardian that wants to try to take the plave of the Ultralisk has
the choice of challenging him to a duel. The job of the Ultralisk
is to arrange inter-guild games and keep the Guardians top notch
players.
Guardian- You must recruit a total of 5
people at your stay as Master Seargent to be ready to join the
elite ranks of the Guardians. The council of Realm Lord, Archon,
and the acting High Templars will gather and see if you are
worthy to join. If we decide that you have served the guild with
pride and honor, you must battle me, and the High Templars to see
just how good you are. If you are lucky enough to be nominated to
a Guardian, then you will be repersenting the guild on the
ladder. We want the best on the ladder, and the Guardians are the
cream of the crop. You must be a good player to achieve this
rank.
Master Seargent- Requires a recomendation
from on of your peers and either me or E!Zadeh must validate it.
As Master Seargent, it's your duty to go on the chat channels and
recruit for the guild. We don't believe in flooding the chat
channels with ads for the guild, and be sure to tell the new
recruits who the bosses are, Green_Sun, E!Zadeh, and
TheGreenKnight. If I hear of any one flooding the chat channels,
you will be relieved of your position as a Master Seargent.
Captin- A Hydralisk that has shown
superoity in the recon and base defence fields can be recommened
by one of their peers to the captin status. As captin, it's your
duty to teach the newer members of the guild the ropes of recon
and base management. Probably the best postition in the guild for
devoloping strong ties with people, which can be handy later on.
Hydralisk- Requiring only 15 guild wins
and recruiting a person to our ranks, a Firebat can ask for a
permotion to Hydralisk, the first postion of authority in the
guild. The Hydralisk's main job is to direct battles, unless some
one of a higher rank is present. The Hydralisk will look out for
the base defence in team games and in 2 vs. 2 or 3 vs. 3 guild
games he/she will look out for the map intelligence as well as
helping out with attacks and the such.
Firebat- A marine that has won 10 guild
games and has attended 3 or more guild meetings may ask for a
permotion to Firebat. The Firebat is the main player in team
guild games and usually a tougher opponent than a Marine.
Marine-Any Zergling that has five or more
wins in any guild games may ask for a permotion to Marine. The
Marine is the regular player for the guild, and will take orders
from any guild members of authority in the games.
Zergling- Inital rank of anyone who has
joined the guild. To attain the rank of Zergling, you must only
meet all of the requirements listed on the join page.
