Red Rain: The Camarilla of Boston

The Masquerade

So far the Camarilla has proven to be much less fatal and much more... interesting... than the Sabbat. Are they the monsters Ezekiel and the rest all claimed they were? Or are they a bunch of immortal idiots who have all lost their minds and are just begging to be put out of your misery?

Quentin King, the Third

King's Court

"His Majesty," the so-called Prince of Boston, holds court in high medieval style and all attend him as if part of the grand illusion. His knight-attendant is planted by his side, "Sir Cum Laude" by name, and is quick to defend his liege. You were told that of the partiers, most were Toreador or Malkavian. I'm sure he helped you form a very definite opinion of these two clans...

The Nosferatu Clan

Jara Drory and the Nosferatu

Ick

Jara and her "clan" are indeed vile -- but they did respond to your manners, and so kindly returned all your ill-gotten gains (minus the keys to your cubby hole in the sewers). They're so creepy though... it's almost as if you can still feel their countless beady eyes on you...

Geneveve has warned that "some day" the Nosferatu will come back looking for pay-backs. But maybe that's just the Toreador take on the situation. Right...?

The Ventrue Clan

Tommy

Tommy

This Ventrue seems positively determined to play the dimplomat, doesn't he? He gave Matt "Benjamin 'Soldat' Reilly's" message while Rain fought with Quinn at the drive-in, and he jumped between a Brujah on the edge and -- well -- everyone else to keep the peace at the Prince's Court. He was sucked back into Clan Ventrue in the aftermath of the devastating attack on Geneveve's house, much to Quinn's dismay. Too bad for you the Brujah lost the even-tempered Neonate's company: it was one of the few things guaranteed to keep him semi-sane.

Tommy now faces a tough decision: remain in the war-torn city of Boston to support his Sire and Primogen, or strike out on his own...

The Brujah

Seamus "Quinn" Quinlan

Quinn

The Brujah wasn't happy to see you the first time, and he definitely wasn't happy to see you the second time. If not for that oh-so-helpful fellow, Tommy, there may have been bloodshed... which probably would not have been all that helpful in establishing your new reputations as "nice vampires who aren't Sabbat" in the domain.

Now Quinn has lost his gang, The Boys, to the violence wrought by the Garou who attacked a known Camarilla holding twice -- unprecedented behavior which has taken a dire toll on the Brujah, and the city of Boston as well. Last you saw him, he and the neonate Jillian were all that remained. And he didn't even say goodbye before he disappeared.

Jillian

Jillian

Young, inexperienced, and just trying to keep up, this fledeling Brujah is all Quinn has left of his clan and his Boys -- and she's treated like it. Given about a half inch of space at any given time after The Garou Incident a few nights ago, Quinn refused to take his eyes off her for an instant -- until he took off on his own. He must have returned for her, for now he and Jillian both have gone off; as Tommy said, "to look for a fight worth dying for."

Geneveve Orseau

Geneveve

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

-- George Gordon, Lord Byron

Elfin and mysterious, Geneveve is the latest in a long line of vampires (or "Kindred" as they like to say) whose overwhelming charisma and compelling beauty make it difficult to think straight. You just want to be able to stop running -- finally; to find a haven of your own; to be able to stop looking over your shoulder constantly. Yes, the Camarilla certainly have nicer houses than the Sabbat... and this Toreador's home was no exception.

She's heard your darkest secrets and vowed to protect you regardless. She and Sheperd, the gruff Gangrel Primogen, both made incredible sacrifices to protect you. She even sent you off with a letter of introduction to Gideon, Prince of Baltimore. Why would she do all this... for you?

Perhaps you'll never know...
