5/7/200 Chronicle

late night of Eadoll 27

Group infiltrates Quisitor stronghold and recovers the Hammer of Thilm, Ruby Girdle, Gauntlets of Might, Watchblade, Lady's Luck, the Tome of Farreading and their various medals. Also taken by Malus were three powerstones. Confronting the Master Quisitor, a surprised Elshon recovers the Staff of Krimn and then the party flees during the "head start" he offered them. Group agrees to assault the Vampire Lord, Syvic Kinsdeath, immediately and makes their way to the tunnels leading to the Burial Island. At the entrance they battle a group of Changed Ones and defeat them with only minor injuries except for Lance's crippled arm.

5/14/2000 Chronicle

Group fights its way through the Burial Island and meets up with Mels who is also attempting to defeat Syvic as well as recover some magical artifacts. Joining forces with Mels' group and the Quisitor strike force the group gains the relative safety of the Hall of Emperors where Mels hopes to recover the artifacts. After a pitched battle in which Syvic is defeated by Arlick who regained his humanity and was powerfully blessed with Sho's powers. Mels recovers the Blaze Armor of Dranin, and all its weapons, which will allow him to overthrow Felix and assume leadership of the Dranin Imperium. Arlick charges Elshon with protecting the followers of Sho' and grants him the title of Righteous Guardian and the twin swords and lightning panthers. The group and other members of Mels' group recover several other artifacts as well as a significant amount of gems. Mels deposes Felix who had made a pact with the Overlord of the Changed Ones to insure his continued reign as emperor. Mels banishes Felix to Fortress Heart for the rest of his life.

5/21/2000 Chronicle

Mels goes about assuming leadership of the Dranin Imperium. He thanks the groups and gives them the rank of vel-Captain in the Drainin Army. Mels apologizes for Kailin's death and introduces the group to Chaegor Baelor a historian and priest of Binsus to serve as the group's researcher. Lance collapses due to poison/disease and spends several days recovering. Arlick tells Elshon that a new plague is spreading throughout the land. The plague is called the Black Star Fever because of the star-shaped lesions it causes in the final stages of illness. Arlick charges Elshon with going to Delving Bay to see if the source of the plague can be found. Group travels to Delving Bay where they see that the plague has taken a great toll of the people living here.
