Tyrannosaurus Rex means "cruel king lizard."  The most terrible dinosaur that ever lived. He was 60 feet long and 18 feet tall.  His head was almost as big as a mans body. Teeth were 6 inches long inside a powerful jaw.

Tyrannosaurus was a fierce hunter.  He hunted alone and stalked the dinosaurs he wanted to eat, and then ran after them quickly.  He stood on his very strong hind legs.  They helped him run fast to catch and hold his dinner.  Two small arms with two fingers were of no use to him.
