About The Daily Quiz
Q - What is the Daily Quiz?
A - The DQ started in the summer of '97, when a group of Dave George's old high school
buddies started emailing each other in anticipation of their upcoming ten-year reunion.
Dave started sending high school trivia questions, and his friends started responding.
When he ran out of dirt from 1987, he started just making up questions about anything.
Each day he'd send ten questions, and his friends would supply the answers. As his
friends were (are) not particularly "smart", their answers proved quite humorous.
Word of this delicious time-waster spread, and the ranks of the DQ grew to around 400.
Now that we are on the web, the QuizMaster's reach is immeasurable and his followers
shall be legion. BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
Q - How does one play?
A - You can either subscribe to the mailing list using the ListBot link, or you can
copy the quiz from the web site into a message to me.
Q - The QuizMaster is so smart, and judging by his pictures, hunky to boot. Has he plans
to host his own television game show?
A - No, but he's met Alex Trebek once. You may also remember him as "Guy in Street"
from an episode of "Ned & Stacey".
Q - How does one win the Daily Quiz?
A - No one really knows. What we do know is that it's NOT a function of total number
of answers correct. There are those who accuse the QuizMaster of just awarding wins
to women he wants to sleep with, but SHANE SLEIGHTER wins a lot, and the QuizMaster
does not *ever* want to sleep with him again.
Q - Why are there so many movie and TV questions in the DQ?
A - TV good. TV not mean, not make fun of Dave.
Q - How long does it take you to compose the Daily Quiz?
A - The ten questions take about a half-hour, and the answers take about two hours
to compile. Longer when I'm drunk. (So...usually longer.)
Q - Is it true you can dance just like Kid from Kid-n-Play?
A - Absolutely true.
Q - I bust my ass to get the answers right without cheating, but I know a lot of
people cheat by surfing the web. What say you about that?
A - Oh, the QuizMaster knows when people use outside resources. Dig, when they get
all the questions correct that can be found using the web, but don't get any of the others
right it's pretty obvious. But tiger, this isn't about winning or losing. It's about
something else. I think. Not really sure.
