(For July, 2002)

1. Norfolk (11) – Simply the best in every aspect of the game (1)
2. Minnesota (1) – The Mets "Best Team Yet" has gotten even better. (4)
3. Boston – Need Mussina & Smiley to return to their past glory and this team will be unstoppable. (3)
4. Cleveland - Could be AL dark house with Norfolk's poor post season history this is a team to worry about. (2)
5. Texas – Only have 98 HR, 234 SB? What is this, the 1985 Cardinals? Redefine the term “Small Ball” in FFBL. (5)
6. Houston – They’ll use the AL West to coast to the playoffs, if they were in the NL we’d be talking about next year. (7)
7. Toronto – Management believes the Jays are playing at their potential for this year, it will be a hard fight for playoffs (6)
8. Pittsburgh – Excellent offense with good pitching will make for a good race with Toronto for the Wild Card. (9)
9. Idaho – All these incredible deals, the team continues its downslide, proving the best deals are the ones you don’t make (8)
10. San Antonio – A welcome change by moving to San Antonio, resulting in an immediate turnaround for the franchise. (11)
11. San Francisco –Dusty Baker's team back on a roll, the Grizzlies are in more trouble than he thinks. (10)
12. Winnipeg – Have been on a tear since their deal with Minnesota, hard to believe two teams could benefit so much. (13)
13. Salt Lake City – Jeff’s dream would be for the pitching to develop as quickly as his hitting has. (16)
14. Milwaukee – Team is up for sale, and rumor has it that Scott Dexter will be returning to action in the FFBL. (12)
15. San Diego – Good, young nucleus make the Padres a future contender, but 3 others in the division are doing the same (15)
16. Baltimore – Not an overly large amount of current talent on this team, they're just playing hard. (14)
17. Montreal – Having a much better season than last year, unfortunately for them still under .500 (18)
18. Los Angeles – Management won’t commit himself to trades for rebuilding or for now, prefers to win at a .450 clip (19)
19. Arizona – Great start to rebuilding, already have a better #1 pitcher in Elarton than what they dealt away (17)
20. Columbia – Running around in circles, get it? Greyhounds… oh, never mind. (21)
21. Seattle – Major league team with minor league nick-name play like minor leaguers (22)
22. Halifax – Made big deals to make them better now, though they’ll be back to #28 in 3 years. (20)
23. Florida – Can’t blame the entire staff, 10 complete games keep them out of the bottom. (27)
24. Richmond – The 2nd worst ERA in the NL and a terrible offense, batting just .236 as a team. (25)
25. Cincinnati – Old power hitters and a weak staff, Bagwell shouldn’t fit into their future plans. (24)
26. St. Louis – ERA: Worst in NL. Batting: 2nd Worst in NL...Winning, after eighteen losses in a row… Priceless (23)
27. Dayton –Rumors going around the league that this GM is a lazy ass, he wants others to improve his team for him. (26)
28. Detroit – Another old FFBL owner raises the cash and buys his team, welcome back Gene. (28)
