Preparations and Warmups are taken seriously by amataur and
professional alike. The friendly competition means our 'pros'
give our amataurs hints on how to improve performance/fitness.

As the youngsters eagerly await the starters 'gun'.

Those of us who are a little older aren't quite so eager,
and are just as happy to pose for this photo.

When you don't feel like 'going it alone', call a friend,
and go in the team event, also held at each race.

Transition is always tedious, but when you're there infront,
things seem easier.

Some local heros of years gone by, of some
renown in various sports, have decided to
give triathlon a go, G. simpson, D. Beckett,
and J. Parsons, found triathlon to be a
worthy challenge.

After a triathlon there is nothing better than a few laughs
with friends (and a cold drink, of course).
