SNC HIGH SCHOOL BATCH 1979 | home
THANK YOU MY DEAR BATCHMATES
It was an event that happened only in a matter of days,
But there was no single dull moment that I can ever trace,
It was an event that every Nicolanian should not miss,
Memories that took place 25 years ago were starting to reminisce.
For weeks, we painstakingly prepared our production number,
The everyday dance practice is something to remember,
The loss of weight is also something we could not forget,
Many reduced especially our batchmate Marybeth.
Some of us came from as far as the United States to attend the reunion,
They are Elpidio Paqueo, Nicky Teves, Celma Consuegra and Remelinda Tecson,
Others came from New Zealand and Australia,
They are Arnulf Compay and Gwendolyn Arreza.
The Fellowship Night was one that I will always treasure,
It was the moment that I, for 25 years, have been longing for,
There was a burning sensation that filled the dance floor,
When Jingle danced with Joey leaving the crowd to uproar.
We rode on the most beautiful float of the motorcade,
The beautiful and handsome faces are once again displayed,
We are the cream of the crop, as what the teachers said,
What made us different is that we are united.
Our creativity and closeness were evident during the Grand Celebration,
“This is the best host so far,” was the majority's observation,
The program was opened with a solemn song rendition,
And who could ever forget the beautifully-made Video Presentation.
But to all these, let us thank the Lord for His care,
For one whole week, He gave us a beautiful weather,
He made our friends' travel convenient and easier,
Thank you dear Lord for taking care of us all these years.
And now you are leaving your Alma Mater once again,
Back to normal lives and the places where you've been,
Reminisce the past my friend even when you're gone,
Treasure our friendship and let that Nicolanian spirit lives on.
