Dear
Dr Bez,
I
have been surfing for nearly 3 years now, but I cant seem to catch
any waves in the South East and not many when i get down west. I
just cant seem to catch them and if i do i cant stand up. I'm 6'2"
and 14 stone and surf a 5'8" shortboard. I bought it when i
first started surfing and it was the flashiest board in the shop
so its a decent board.
Dr Bez says,
I'm not surprised
you dont seem very succesfull in your attempts. as a learner you
need to get a very floaty and thick board. Something like a Mal
or a mini mal would be good. Maybe even try using a foamie for a
while untill you start cathing waves and stading up regularly. When
your surfing improves, then start looking at a shorter board. Keep
hold of that floaty board though, it will come in handy in the south
east where there is not much power in the waves.
Dear
Dr Bez,
i
am living in the south east and have always wanted to surf. Where
do I start?
Dr Bez says,
Get yourself
down to the west country and join up with one of those surf schools,
make sure they are BSA approved. they will show you how to start
off. Then if you enjoy it enough, get your self a second hand mini
mal and a wet suit! then head wherever ther is swell! Have fun!
Dear
Dr Bez,
iam
currently seeing 3 women, one is my cousin, another is my brothers
wife and the other is my pet goat. Which one do i choose?
Dr Bez says,
Err... I think
you want to try Jerry Springer!!
