Note:
This is the end of the 4th Season. It does contain minor spoilers for 4th season finale, if you haven't seen it yet. Also some of this will be paraphrased from the actual season finale, as well. I wanted to add a bit of a filler toward the end, and show what the characters *might* have been thinking and reacting. Granted, not every detail may be right.
Teaser: A preview of how the Charmed Ones might have felt during their Test at the end of Charmed's 4th Season finale.

Phoebe stood there staring at Cole's unusual disappearance, thinking, "What the hell is going on?"
Piper stood there, giving Phoebe a look of frozen silence. Silence grew between the sisters, until Paige stepped forward, and led them away from the power-dampening amulets buried in the ground. Paige took them in her arms, and dematerialized into glowing white-blue orbs. After calling a cab from the Manor, for the distressed witch that they had just rescued, Phoebe sighed softly.
It had been a very hard day for Phoebe, having to decide whether to continue as the Charmed Ones, or lead a mortal life, and finally be free. One thing did help her decide - rescuing that innocent. She was nice, once you got to know her. That gave Phoebe a warm feeling in her heart. For once, she had recaptured her feeling for saving the innocents of the world, that she had started out with. It had made the separation harder for her. True, Phoebe still loved Cole, and would always love him. But now, she didn't know what to do, now that Cole might actually be in the picture, and with powers, to boot.
Shaking off her introspection, she headed into the lounge, where the girl, no, woman, sat at the beige-colored couch, talking with Piper, and Paige. She smiled softly, and motioned to the phone in the hallway. "I called a cab for you. He won't be bothering you anymore, Selena..." Selena smiled gratefully through tearstained eye-lashes, and scraggly blonde hair.
"Heh. Thanks. I'll ...try to keep out of trouble." Wiping her eyes, she chuckled weakly. Her light tone didn't betray her troubles, but Phoebe knew it would be a while before she got over that episode. Phoebe nodded slowly, and a small smile curved up on her face, offering reassurance.
"I know you will be fine." Phoebe smiled warmly.
A distant car pulled up to the front of the Manor, signaling its arrival. Phoebe headed toward the window in the lounge, and peered out, waving at the cab driver to wait. She turned around, and smiled at Selena.
"Take it easy, ok? Your cab is here." Piper and Paige stood there, just offering silent support. Paige led Selena to the door, and as Selena exited the front doors, she suddenly turned around. Paige stood there with a mystified glance, as Selena took a moment to speak.
"I always thought witches were different, out to get people...but you aren't. You just have powers that you use to help people. Thanks. If I can ever repay the debt, let me know."
Paige smiled broadly, "Alright... Better catch your cab and you're welcome!" As Selena turned to catch the taxi, Paige closed the door, and smiled to herself.
Piper took this moment to speak. "That was ...different."
Phoebe agreed with a weary smile. "Yeah..." A tinge of sadness, and confusion entered her voice.
Piper moved toward Phoebe with a quizzical look playing across her face. "Pheebs?" Phoebe closed her eyes, and leaned her head forward slightly, and exhaled slowly.
"It's nothing. I'm just tired." Phoebe swiftly turned around, and ran upstairs, toward her room.
Paige looked at Phoebe's trailing into her room, and sighed. She pondered for a moment. It'd be nice if she had a true love too, but she hadn't found hers yet. She knew that Phoebe had a nasty shock that Cole was back and apparently physically, as well, with... unique powers. Paige knew that it would probably take time, but she did wonder what was on Cole's agenda.
Piper sighed softly, stifling hidden pain at her sister's suffering, mingled with a feeling of weirdness. What the hell was going on? I should talk to Phoebe. And what was that deal with Cole showing up like that? Even if he did save our lives, that was a shock, to all of us. He was SUPPOSED to be dead, wasn't he? Piper shook off her speculation as Paige spoke.
Paige sighed. "I guess it's time for bed. I'm bushed. G'nite Piper." Paige smiled as Piper wished her a good night.
"G'nite honey. Sleep well." Sisterly instinct told Piper that it wasn't time to head up to see Phoebe just yet. Most likely in the morning. Walking up the stairs with her sister, Piper headed to her room on the middle of the hall. Paige yawned widely, heading up to her room. As she reached her room, she immediately crashed into her bed, clothes and all.
It was in that state that Piper found Paige the next morning, as she had left her door slightly open. Piper knocked on the door lightly, and spoke in a quiet voice, "Paige? It's time to get up." A groan answered Piper as Paige barely moved, and it reminded her poignantly of Phoebe, as she was growing up.
Smiling as she left Paige's door, she busied herself with general household chores, until mid-morning, when something strange happened. Again. The three sisters and Leo were walking around the Manor, talking about the night before, and things just...stopped. Stasis overtook everything. Even Leo. Leo stood there, as if Piper had froze him, but she knew she didn't.
A blue glow emerged in front of the three waiting sisters, as if it were a streak of blue, to materialize into the Angel of Destiny. A white-bearded grizzled man in a white robe, stood before them, and smiled. He asked again. "What is your choice?"
They gave the decision to continue as the Charmed Ones. He smiled as if privately glad. He also pointed out something that would change Piper's life, forever.
"You know your choice to continue as the Charmed Ones? It won't interfere with Piper and Leo's personal destiny." He gave a small smile, as Phoebe quickly realized what he meant. Phoebe let out a squeal and Piper looked confused. Phoebe quickly explained. "He means you're pregnant!"
Paige looked confused, but happy. Piper stared into space with a dumbfounded expression, as the Angel of Destiny disappeared in a blue glowing streak, releasing Leo from his stasis.
She finally uttered two words. "I...I'm pregnant?" She had her hands outstretched, as if shrugging, but had an expression of happiness and stunned surprise. Leo stared at Piper. "Wh..What do you mean? Are you sure?"
Piper grinned, nodding overjoyously.
