CCGs

I love to play CCGs (collectable card games). Though I have played at least 30, and own about 20, my favorite would be Middle-earth: Collectable Card Game.
  • CCG: CCGs are card games. They can be roleplaying based, or traditional based, though the latter is the most common and popular. CCGs are unlike card games, in that they are collectable, i.e., you buy a starter deck, and then can build on with booster packs of 8-20 cards. You can also customize your decks. This all started off with Magic: The Gathering. Here is a list of my favorites:
    • MECCG
    • Magic: The Gathering
    • Mythos (based on HP Lovecraft)
    • Dr. Who
    • Star Wars
    • Star Trek TNG
    • X-Files
  • MECCG: MECCG (Middle-earth: Collectable Card Game) is a wonderful CCG from I.C.E. based on the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. In it, you play one of the five wizards who are trying to control the free-people's minds in order to overthrow Sauron. Alternativly, you can cast the One Ring into the Cracks of Doom. The art is exceptional and beautiful.
