Here and Ever After

Lend me your ear
So I may softly whisper
The promises of love you’ve longed to hear.
My words falling upon your mind
Like a cascade of water splashing into your thoughts;
Keeping time at a stand still.
All the weight and worries of the world
Temporarily in a static state.
You, my darling, in all my life
Did I dare dream a woman like you truly existed.
A girl you become as I hear your laughter,
A sound of joy I will cherish here and ever after.
From this moment on—
Your desires are my gifts to you;
Your wants, neccessities I must supply you with;
Your dreams, the itenerary of our future.
