Is Lucifer Satan?
Satan can be seen as Lucifer because they both represent individuality, pride and self indulgence. They are separate entities, and words, but both contain the same characteristics. Lucifer is Roman, the Roman God of Light. The word Satan is Hebrew, the meaning is pre-Christian, and has been found inscribed in stone in Mesopotamia: aka= Garden of Eden. The Christians take gods from different cultures and distort them to evil. In doing so, the Christians demonize all other religions and belief systems. Satan and Lucifer were not fallen angels originally, they are ancient gods for different cultures and times. So since they represent basically the same thing, some Satanists use both of them for the same reasons. Most Satanists look at it as Lucifer is another name for the pre-Christian Satan.
