She appears in the Sailor Moon S series, and is very mysterious at first (and mistaken as a he). Haruka cross-dresses frequently, and has a great love for cars and racing. During one fateful day, a daemon attacks her friend. A transformation stick appears, and thus the beginning of the end of Haruka's peaceful life. Yet, she takes it against Sailor Neptune's warning, in order to save her friend and to save the world. She is Sailor Uranus, and also the holder of one of the three sacred Talismans. While searching for the Messiah and the Holy Grail with Sailor Neptune/Kaiou Michiru, the two become mysteriously close...Haruka's past is somewhat unknown. Her father supposedly wanted a son instead of a daughter, thus the reason why she cross-dresses frequently. In the S series, she goes to Mugen High School.
