General Information
In 1989, we decided to work together in a tattoo shop. As in any
lives, ten years had
brought about many changes, but one thing remains the same. Guns
& Needles Tattoo
Parlor is Knox County's oldest and first health department approved tattoo
establishment.
The same two people are at the same location, still working to make sure
that our original
goals are met. Those being, that customers can get a quality piece
of artwork, for a reasonabl
reasonable price in a reasonably friendly atomosphere. Shops tend
to come and go,
"artists" seem to change regularly at some shops, but's it's the
same here as it's ever been.
We offer you our stability, reliability and the promise that we will do
all we can to reach
our original goals. You will get a quality piece of artwork for a
reasonable price in a
reasonably friendly environment.
We take the tradition of tattooing seriously, and respect your rights and
choices, while
reserving the right to refuse to tattoo you or your design if they conflict
with our philosophies.
philosophies.
We don't make price generalizations over the phone, it's too easy to misunderstand
what's being talked about. The price of your tattoo is going to depend
on the design
itself and that can't be seen over a phone. We evaluate how long
we think it will take us
to complete your tattoo, and price accordingly. Keep in mind that
a part of the price you
pay is to insure that your tattoo is done according to regulations and
so as to not make
you sick. Also, this is a permanent piece of art. The cost
tends to be minimal in light of
that consideration.
Given that not all skin likes all dyes we do guarantee to recolor/touch
up your tattoo
for free within one year of having it done. This service is offered
Tuesday through
Thursday only.
We do not: tattoo minors, sell supplies or offer apprenticeships.
We do: walk-ins, check state issued photo ids and limited piercings.
