Lonesome Girls
They seize the demons revolving
their wings
With glazed over skies where
dark angels sing
Ladies in waiting of bright
silver moons
Lovers of fledglings and
young girls that swoon
With quick blinding lies
and visions of light
They hold fast and grasp
steadily
They prepare to take flight
To heavens below where flames
of life linger
They give of their souls
for rings on their fingers
Baby
Scream to me my pain too
deep
Frightened dolls to battered
to keep
Tattered and torn in shreds
they lay
Plaster and plastic cracked
and decayed
Why can't dolls speak when
played with and thrown
No innards, no soul
Empty and alone
The porcelain ones so pretty
and old
Waxen skin and dress the
color of coal
Eyes are missing and lips
frozen in smile
Perfect yet much too dead
to be a real child
My Life
Through mine eyes I see
divine
To taste among thieves the
sacred of wines
A thorny rose prick of life
so sweet
Fill my glass with life's
deceit
Vines of passion bare no
fruit nor fair
Entangles my limbs my flesh
it snares
A garden of lies my bouquet
to pick
Blackened and wrought
Withered as a candle wick
Beauty or the Beast
Sing to me my imperfections
so grotesque
How could you adore God's
creation so unblessed
Rotting blushed flesh from
the outside in
Why do you love me?
Fascination maudlin
My blackened eyes portray
empty souls
Bruised and battered
Heart is holed
Your visions deceived by
the lies of night
Hidden and protected
Your monster porcelain and
bright
Feel and touch in your arms
Soft and warm velvet charms
Lips beautifully scented
with sweetness breath
Two red red rose petals
from the flower of death
