Welcome to page 14

I have a couple of my personal collection pieces that I love to share with folks....they are what makes glass carving fun.

This piece was staged 3 times. Once for the outlines, the second for the darker shading and a third time for the lighter shading.

Doesn't everybody love bunnies?

achick.jpg (88364 bytes) I've always enjoyed oak for framing. What you can't see on the frame are the splines placed in each corner to add stability to the frame which is only glued together. A light oil finish and you have a great, easy frame.

Small eye hooks in the time are for hanging from fine chains from overhead fasteners -- not fishing line from suction cups!

Here's a favorite chicken of mine -- and has been for many years! Same technique was used as for the bunny above.

A friend of mine is a great pilot and has shared his hobby with me -- in return his wife smuggled me a picture of his plane and I returned a bit of my hobby to him for his enjoyment! Working from photos is not exactly an easy process....have patience! aplane.jpg (109984 bytes)
