There are simple options to change the font size, style, and the spacing.
[Ctrl] + 1 Sets the line spacing to 1
[Ctrl] + 2 Changes line spacing to double-line spacing
[Ctrl] + changes line spacing to 1-1/2
[Ctrl] + J Justifies the pharagraph between the margins
[Ctrl] + E centers the paragraph
[Ctrl] + L causes the paragraph to be left aligned
[Ctrl] + R right aligns the paragraph
[Ctrl] + M indents the entire paragraph
[Ctrl] + [Shift] + M removes an indent
The following options can be applied to selected text. Or if it is only a single word that has to be formatted, then one only has to place the cursor anywhere in the word for the command to take effect
[Ctrl] + [ reduces the font by a point size
[Ctrl] + ] increases the font by a point size
[Ctrl] + B makes the selected text bold
[Ctrl] + U is used to underline the selected text
[Ctrl] + I italicises the selected
The blue colored, underlined-text format of URLs in a Word Document makes them conveniently distinct on screen, but when you print out your documents they don't look good. To change URL formats, click on Format>Style. In the List box, pick All Styles, and scroll to Hyperlink. Then click on Modify and Format, and customise the format to your liking. Make sure the Add to Template is checked and click OK
Word makes it easier to view the HTML sourse code with its Autoformat feature: Go to View> HTML source, and click on the Autoformat button located next to the pencil on the HTML toolbar. Word will automatically format your document using different colors to indicate HTML tags and their indicate attributes.
