Feel that an explanation is in order? Hmmm....? Well what we are trying to do is furnish a site where people (like yourself I hope) can find out what is going on in and around the Albany (pronounced locally as agony, and meaning much the same thing)area pertaining to the Gothic/ and or Vampyric lifestyles. (Yes I suppose you poseurs can check this out too. We are misunderstood not evil, or are we? Nah! Well....at least not so as to be blatantly obvious anyway. | |||||||||||||||||||

You probably suffer the same problems as the rest of us locals. Finding the right shade of black clothing, keeping them black, possibly keeping them hidden. Where to find that special shade of foundation your favorite Goth band is using. Trying to stockpile a reasonable amount of Mega Super Hair Gel and spray. (Please do not substitute structural adhesive found locally at Lowes, very hard to remove. But then again it holds till your hair is gone so maybe it's not so bad.) And of course the inevitable questions. Whats going on this weekend that pertains to me, and where in hell can I get those clove cigarettes( sigh) that are all the rave? Well this is what we are all about! You! Quite a concept huh? Someone actually interested in your happiness. (Or sorrow and depression if your Goth LOL) | |||||||||||||||||||

OK. So you're saying to yourself(No not in those little voices you hear. I'm speaking metaphorically.) where do I fit in here. Well most of the information here is spread by word of mouth. And since most of you seem to have a thing against conversations with strangers(Did I say strangers? Oh how appropriate.*snicker*) most of you have no idea what is going on till it's over. So it would seem a combined forum and event listing is in order. You(as in yourself, and *ahem* friends) E-mail what you know( not what you think you know please.) about what is going on and we( as in we here at AGON-E) will get it up and out on the site(as in here). | |||||||||||||||||||
