I Miss You

I miss feeling your arms around me

so tight

so firm

we never used to let go

I miss you

I miss the way we laughed together

so loud

so sincere

we never used to stop

I miss you

I miss seeing your body every day

so tall

so perfect

I never used to close my eyes

Graduation came

we did let go

the laughter stopped

and I closed my eyes forever.
