Cookie Cans & Hallowe'en Treats

Been collecting coffee cans for years and don't know what to do with them?  Did the bag break a block away from your house last Hallowe'en?  A couple of simple solutions...

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using metal, it's best to give it a coat of primer first.  You can get it in a spray can at the hardware store.  Paint in your colour choice.  You will probably need 3-4 coats.  This is just regular craft paint.  The designs on the cookie cans are paper cutouts, held in place with podge.  I painted the "scary faces" for the treat cans.  See Patterns.  Drill holes in the sides of the treat bucket to attach cord for handle.  Use at least 2 coats of varnish for protection!
