So ya wanna join the spum...
It's easy. Really. All you gotta do is go to our
online archives, here.
Just click on the link to subscribe. Send a message to the Secretary General,
presenting your microstate to the SPUM and your request to subscribe will
be reviewed. Once the chair has added your microstate to the mailing list.
You will be recognized as an OBSERVER member. An Observer Member State
has the right to participate in discussions which concern the floor of
the SPUM. However Observer states are ineligible to participate in motion
and resolution voting.
How does my state become a Voting Member?
Well, thanks for asking. It is also quite a simple
process. Your microstate's ambassador to the SPUM needs to provide some
basic information about your microstate. Type of government, its location
on the Planet Earth, its plans or perceived role in the future of geopolitical
relations, or whatever you would like to say. Your microstate also needs
to ask for Voting Member status. The chair will then put your application
to be a Voting Member up for a vote. If it passes, you become a Voting
Member.
