Oh. Hello. Welcome to the outside of Gamma's Castle. I am Windwhistler. I apologize for my lazy appearance, but this is a good spot for a nap. The Castle makes a wonderful place for a vacation. |
She rises and walks over to you.
I noticed Starlite leave with Onyx. I assume that Starlite told you about us before he left. Unlike the others in this Castle, I can not tell you with certainty which of us was actually the first to meet 'the Writer.' The new guest, Doctor Brown, is the only of the Originals who is human. He was not around when I was and so we have just met today. He is the last to return, other than Elliot who stated that he could not return when he left. |
She looks at the castle and then back at you.
I hope that I am correct in assuming you have met him. |
You nod and she smiles.
That is an encouraging turn of events. I am hoping that he will stay with us and explain to me some of his many experiments. Speaking of which, I must be off. I had promised to help him locate a suitable 'lab' for his work. It was nice meeting you. Enjoy the outside of the castle and do not worry about returning to the inside right away. You are welcome outside for as long as you would like to stay. Farewell. |
The pony quickly takes of, up into the sky, and it isn't until then that you really notice she had wings. After standing for a moment to take in the scenery again, you decide to move on.
Walking through the hills and trees feels very relaxing and you wonder if it is ever a season other than spring here. Lost in your thoughts, you startle a Unicorn standing under one of the trees.
Hello. I am the Unicorn, probably the last of the Originals you will meet here. Ironic, considering I was once the last of my kind. You will find many of us with that story here, I think. |
I remain around the area until spring is not needed. When it is not needed, I return to my forest. |
She gazes distantly into the woods far away from the castle grounds before turning back to you.
I assume it was explained to you that the Originals are those of us that lived with Laura when she was a child. We never thought of creating a place like this, but I am glad that she did and that I can share in it now. Derg and Zoy played a great part in developing it. Though I never met them before I came here, I find them close company at times. |
As she looks to the castle she guides you around the side, to a door made of glass. A pool connects to the castle here, but you can see no way in from the outside.
You are free to come and go as you wish at this Castle. Return if it is what you wish. I will be here. |
You take that as your farewell, nod and go back inside through the door you can see.
