Standing in the entrance hall, you look around. The inside of the castle looks surprisingly like a house, though it certainly appears to be built for royalty. The ceiling is high and rounded, with many-candled lights hanging way out of reach.

To the right you notice a stairway, to the left, a large, round topped entrance to another room. In front of you is a hallway that goes both left and right. From the left, a small woman with long, black hair, appears.

Hello. Welcome to Gamma's Castle. I'm Derg. I have second ranking here, though we don't do too much by ranking. Mostly we use it for the various traditions of the Castle... And it helps us when we're doing a head count. Being second only means I moved in right after the Writer did.:)

She smiles and leads you farther into the room.

This is the entrance hall. Enjoy looking around. You're always welcome. We have many new things planned for this year: A celebration that will most likely take place on IRC, the Dragons are planning another Gather, we finished renovating the second tower... And we now have a new resident, a man the writer and I have missed having around for quite some time. He's in the Greeting Room... You can't miss him.

We now have a Guestbook set up over there on the table by the stairs. I'm very proud of our writer for getting all of this done for us!

I hope you won't mind, but I must venture upstairs to discover what the children are up to. Christopher was working on Katia's writing lessons but heaven only knows what that turned into.
