You stroll out onto the front porch and admire the view. What the Writer said is certainly true, the outside is exactly as she described it. The fresh air feels good after being in near that fire. She was right about that too.

The porch covers the entire front of the ...house... You suppose that's what it is now anyway. It wraps around the sides just enough to look nice but not so much that it takes away the view from any of the rooms inside. Just to check, you try and look through one of the windows you're sure belongs to a room you haven't been in yet, but it appears to be a one way window.

From behind you comes a snort. You turn, a little startled, and are even more surprised when it turns out to be a horse talking to you.

I hope you aren't trying to spy on anyone from out here. The nice thing about this castle, is that the builders actually did keep horses in mind when they built it. Laura asked me what I thought we should do about the windows. They're coated on the outside, only those of us living here can see in.

The horse tosses his head.

Besides, the two of them have a lot of catching up to do. We haven't seen him around here in years... And she protects the guest bedroom very carefully. This porch actually wraps around the side of the castle. If you look that way, you can see The Unicorns pool. She and I spend many quiet afternoons there.

As if being drawn out of a dream, he suddenly looks at you.

My name is Starlite. I am one of 'the Originals'. We seem to have been forgotten when it comes to group order, but the few Originals that are here were the first to meet "the Writer.' We did leave for awhile, but most of us returned, and we found this when we did.

The horse looks around at the outside, leads you away from the porch and then turns to look back at what has now become a castle again. You are amazed at how suddenly the small house could become such a large castle. The horse seems to notice your fascination with the design.

It is a marvelous castle. Better than any I've seen in my lifetime, except Rainbow's in Rainbow Land, of course. I don't live inside this one, I go home when it's time.

From the sky, a black, shiny object flies at the two of you, slows down and lands. Another horse. His voice whirs and whistles with a deep mechanical voice that sounds almost cute.

Greetings. I am Onyx. I am one of the Original group. I come with a message for Starlite.

His speech sounds rather rehearsed, but sweet. The light on his back flashing as he speaks. He offers nothing else to you, but turns to his companion.

Rainbow sends for your help.

Dont mind him, he's a mechanical horse, and isn't much for thinking on his own. If this does not take long, I hope to meet up with you again.

The larger horse nods to you, tossing his head as he runs away. The mechanical one pauses after hovering above the ground to turn his head back at you and whir a 'good-bye' before taking off across the horizon.

As they leave, you catch a movement under one of the trees and decide to see what it is.
