Then I'm going to go off and get my pictures. Don't worry, you're never alone very long in Phantasm Tower. |
The man winks, says his flirtatious good-byes, and leaves you to look around the seemingly empty hall.
Nice to have the inside feel like a home, isn't it? |
The man that spoke behind you apologizes for startling you. He explains that he'd just come from down the hall, walks up and offers you a hand.
Nice to have you at Phantasm. I was just about to return this to Land when I noticed you. |
He holds up an audio tape and gives a grin.
Don't go anywhere, I'll be back faster than you can blink. |
An instant later he has gone in and out of he room, returning empty-handed.
I understand his disorganization, we lived together before we moved here. As college roommates, actually... well not quite "actually"... |
He indicates you should join him as he walks back down the hall in the direction he came from.
We never went to college, in fact we didn't finish our high school graduation ceremony. We disappeared and moved to the west coast right after getting our diplomas. But don't let him exaggerate the act, it wasn't a very large graduation and it was very easy to sneak out. |
He chuckles remembering the event.
It became our motto to be college roommates all of our lives because college is supposed to be the best time in your life and we'd never been happier. |
He finishes his story as he stops at his room.
You probably guessed this was mine. I won't drag you in the way Land does. |
He laughs and shakes his head, these two must go very far back and you wonder just how old they are. This man talks as if the events he mentioned had taken place many decades ago, but neither man looked older than 25. Before you ask the man turns his thoughts towards you.
I won't charm you in either! But you are welcome inside and can always come back if you decide to go down the hall. |
