About me
I am a 5'4" redhead...with temper to match; live in Minnesota...love the cold and snow; age is relative...21 one day and 110 on others; married to a great man, Gerry; and mother of two beautiful daughters...Brandy, who is going to college and majoring in Mass Communications, and D'Arcy, who is pursuing a race car career...dirt and asphalt...she's the reason my hair is turning white! For the last couple of years I have become enamored with the Miniature World and all the great people involved with this fascinating world.

What I'm interested in:
- MY MINIATURE WORLD:
WELCOME...to the world of miniatures...where "small" things duplicate the "big" world in all their accuracy! This is not a child's world...although children are welcome; this is not just a woman's world...participation by men is almost equal in numbers; this is not a hobby...it is a way of "thinking, dreaming, and creating". Want to go back in time to a certain era...re-create a special moment in time...or duplicate that one place that made the heart sing? Then the miniature world is for you! Artisans and novices from all over the world have designed and produced everything one could wish for in our miniature homes or displays...from furniture...to the people...to the food they eat...to their pets...to the flowers, pictures and knick-knacks that adorn our little people's rooms. Items for our "Mini World" can be mass produced, one-of-a-kind, or made from "findings". We are a "trashy" group...nothing gets thrown away until it is looked over with a discerning eye to see what it might become!
**I am currently undergoing construction on my world...so please check back often...I hope to add pictures and more in the future.**

- Dollhouses/Room Boxes:
I am a novice compared to most of the miniaturists in our community...but have the "Mini Bug" big time! Two Christmases ago my darling hubby gave me a seven room, Victorian "Painted Lady" dollhouse...and proceeded to build it in only two months. After that we were both hooked...decorating the rooms...building what I couldn't buy and agonizing over what to place where!
I love my dollhouse...but found I needed larger rooms...so hubby got busy and built me an Oriental roombox and just lately finished a Victorian Dress and Hat Shop roombox. I have to say here, hubby is better at this than I...aggravating but true! ;^D
Hopefully you will enjoy my "Mini World" as much as I enjoy creating it...but watch out...the "Mini Bug" is quick to strike! After visiting my world...please sign my guest book and leave your comments or questions and I will try to answer. Then visit some of the other Mini sites in my links...there are some amazingly talented people in our Mini community and I would hate for you to miss them!
