Take a step back in time, beyond the realms of our newborn history, to the mist-enshrouded past where legends and prophecies dwell and miracles and magic work their spell upon the earth. It is the time of gods and goddesses, a time when Odin rode his mighty steed across the astral plains of the sky, thundering and roaring. A time when Valkyries would swoop down upon smoking battlefields and take the fallen dead to the gates of Valhalla, a time when Thor's hammer sparked lightning across the sky, dragons dwelled in mountains, elves did their mischief in the dark forests and the human race was birthing.

It is the time of Viking mythology and of legends old and forgotten.

This is the story of Baal, a young boy born and raised true in his Viking village in the valley of Argen. This is the story of his tragic childhood, how Baal saw his parents and his people murdered at the hands of mysterious Demon Riders from the north. This is the story of his growth into manhood - his development into a powerful warrior obsessed with revenge. This is the story of vengeance, of how Baal calls upon Odin and the gods to aid him in his destiny to rid the world of Evil. This is the making of the legend.
