- Design
I am an extremely right brained person. I love to visualize and design. I design crochet patterns, sewing patterns and product patterns. It's amazing when ideas hit! I carry a "design notebook" around with me at all times! My first marketed design was for a craft tote. The design originated in the shower and was first written in my son's "crayon soap" on the tile!
- Crochet
Crochet is my favorite past time. I love to design patterns in real size and in miniature. Most of my designs are for the unexpected types of things. Not just the basic doily, afghan, etc. My latest designs include crochet furniture (for dollhouses) baskets, miniature table top Christmas trees. and even a miniature dollhouse for a dollhouse! I believe that if it can be created in any medium, it can be created in crochet. Sounds ambitious, Huh? As soon as I learn more about this computer stuff, I'll get some graphics of some of my designs up on the page.
- Miniatures
Not only are miniatures wonderful, but miniaturists are the best bunch of people you will ever meet! Miniatures allows me to involve all craft mediums to create and create and create some more! I stand in awe at the amount of talent that abounds in the world of miniatures. If you peruse my links, you'll see what I mean. Most of us work in 1/12 scale. Which means that one inch equals one foot. So many of the projects may be handcrafted and measure less than one inch!
