THE END

(Part One)

From weather stations across the globe,

no warning came that day.

The moon turned red, and across the world

a very strange light appeared.

A wind that carried the smell of death,

from east to west, began to blow.

The leaders of so many lands,

felt the reigns of power

jerked from their hands.

While men and woman, in bed made love,

locked in adulteries embrace of sin,

all hell broke loose in the heavens above.

Strong men trembled, as their eyes perceived,

the many fruits of their hungry greed.

Urine trickled down the leg,

no mercy even though they beg.

Satan retreated into his lair:

no safety, found even there.

Rivers of blood began to flow:

you will reap, oh man, what you sow!

From the skies, a dreadful hail

upon the earth it fell.

Men tried to hide, to no avail:

death sort them out, those bodies frail.

Though men cursed, and others prayed,

the final act was not delayed.

Oh brother! Listen, and I'll tell you more:

The end is standing by your door.

Justice of another kind came then to this world.

No threat, or attractive bribe,

could sway the courts decision.

The simple truth destroyed the lie.

Of relief some people breathed a sigh.

Oh brother! Listen, and I'll tell you more:

The end is standing by the door.

Safety awaits those that obey.

It's late my friend, in the day.
