THE SPIRIT OF OUR REGIMENT

We don't care what the devil he say.

From him we never draw our pay.

Our Captain's made from the very best,

for He did pass the supreme test.

Soldiers of the great King we are.

Our kit is light, so we travel far.

We don't care what the devil he say.

To his commands we answer nay!

The wounds of chastisement in battles past,

have taught us the evil one to outlast.

Fearless then we greet each day,

as our Captain's orders we obey.

We don't care what the devil he say.

We don't care what tricks he play.

To break our ranks he may endeavour.

Our regiment's spirit, he'll break it never.

Our shield is held so firm in hand,

as we march on to the promised land.

We don't care what the devil he say.

On lonely paths we tread the way.

Friend or foe, right through we'll go.

The pass we have is not for show.

Upon our feet are invisible wings,

that's why our spirit always sings.

We don't care what the devil he say.

The price our Captain He did pay.

As our boots just touch the ground,

of angels singing, we hear the sound.

The moon the stars what a life!

A thousand kisses we give for strife.

We don't care what the devil he say.

To a better place we make our way.

In our hearts there is no shame.

Prepared we are to play the game.

All sorrows cast we far out to sea,

for a million tomorrows we live to be.

We don't care what the devil he say.

We won't give up or be led astray.

That light it shines for us forever.

Our spirit is one we march together.

Come snow come hail from clouds so grey,

we will not fail in the fight this day.

We don't care what the devil he say.

Our sword and shield keep him at bay.

Our strength we draw from Him above,

in disciplines forge was made our love.

With moral courage we raise the hand,

for the flag of our dear fatherland.

We don't care what the devil he say.

From him we never draw our pay.

Deep in our hearts, there burns a flame

for a land with that most glorious name.

Israel! Forsaken you shall never be,

your thirst we'll quench with victory.
