Prelude to a Lovesong
(part 1)
This is no ordinary lovesong. I just want to talk about you and me. It
started out when we were just friends, until one day you just had to
say, "I know our love will never fade away, but I'm afraid I must walk
out today." Now I know we had our up and downs, for you shed that tear
only to see my frown. We had it all until the end, but don't you know I
wanted to be more than just a friend? I always put that love in your
mind -- but it always seems like you never had the time! All I had in
mind was to be your man, but somehow, dome way, I don't think I can! A
long time ago, it was only infatuation . . ., but now it's a passion, an
obsession, a deep inspiration. Don't you know where I'm coming from?
It's hard for me to exemplify, of all the reasons why I've tried. It's
also hard to understand everything I did for you -- don't you know I'm
in HELL without you to? Maybe one day the deceit will diminish, the
cheating, betrayal, and broken hearts will be finished! I will show you
everything we can do and be, but whatever you do, don't walk out on me!
