I was trying to be myself

You hit me and I was gone
On the ground where you kept hitting me
I could not raise my head
For you held it down

You would use me for your happiness
And I kept my head down
Until I tried to hold it up
And soon I thought I was free
And once again I was hit

Darkened Remembrance
The wind howled like a mortally wounded beast from the depths of hell.
Out of the darkness figures moved, black upon black, darker then the
moonless night itself. A young man stared horrified as grunts and gurgles
pierced the through the thinned vegetation and fog dimmed air. Every

often a tearing sound or a whimper could be heard, and with each one
the
boy grew more frightened and closer to panic. Daniel kept thinking
of how
he came here, and for what purpose, oh yes.. his curiosity.

It was dark and misty. Far from Earth, yes, but it was dark. A
mighty battle of good verses evil resided on the unusual planet where no
star was close enough to it to give it either light or heat -- two necessities
for life. The planet was bare with only ice to cover it's surface. On one
side stood Darrious, who was the strongest member of the Paladin guild.
He was mastered on Magic, Bardsmenship, and Barbarianism. He was strong
of heart, body, and soul. Yards away from the awesome sight of a Paladin,
however, whose glistening lit up the planet as if it were a Christmas ornament,
was the dreaded Conthomous. He was the most evil and wretched of the Dark
guild.
