About The Clinic
Written by Braden
The Clinic spawned in 1997 . . . It started up as a continuum for an idealism that Brandon discovered in many realms prior to its actual incursion into the art scene. These realms were places where the people in and around them maintained a steady balance of art and creative flow. The pads where people gathered to create art, make music, and influence one another. Being a realm that he wanted to create where these activities were sought to be perfected by the members who make it what it is, he called his imaginary realm The Clinic, named after a similar establishment where the dwellers of the pad were practically masters of their preferred art, The Mitchell Clinic.

Now, three years has gone by, and The Clinic has proven to be what Brandon set out to make it. With the discovery of Ethan and Frank, the circle of creative talent was complete, and the three of them worked together and separate. Ethan and Frank had already been working together, doing what Brandon did when he was their age. Brandon seen the talent within them, and the creative fire that they had, completing works of art at a rapid pace that astounded him. During 1999, a lot of masterful works were created when the group re-united after Brandon's year and a half leave of absence in Saratoga Springs, New York.

1999 was also an important year as The Clinic held three stand-alone live exhibits of its work. Each of the exhibits were very successful, and with further marketing and word of mouth, the organization has gained recognition from all around the globe. The website, www.theclinic.ontheweb.nu, has seen over 13,000 visitors since its initial launch in late '97. The Cortex has been talked about and looked at by people all over the world.

The year 2000 has brought about some magical times as the three members have been working closely together for the longest period of time since The Clinic began. A new wave of canvases are nearing completion, and An Antipode is more than 1/3 complete. The members continue to work, taking on the challenges that lie ahead for the future. The year 2000 looks to be a land marker of the group's creative endeavors.

Mission Statement

Our mission here at The Clinic is to maintain an environment where there is a steady flow of creativity in and around it. Our aim is to use this environment to its fullest potential, and to exploit all of the talent that exists within and surrounding it.

In order to maintain this environment, our centers of focus involve spreading Clinical creations as far and wide as possible. In order to achieve a stability and balance, we understand that there must be a flow of capital. To attempt to meet this demand, we commission any and all of our talents.

Our outlook on the future involves a steady exhibition schedule for all of our works both visual, written, recorded, and whatever other media we engage in. The full circle will begin to form when past works begin laying down the foundations for future and present projects.
