About her
Chen ShuFeng, a young female artist. Born in 1967 and graduate in 1988 from DeMing ShangZhuan.
Started her career by doing book covers in 1991.
Her first illustration box was released in end of 1993 and 2 years later , her second illustration box was release.
Beginning of 1996 saw her third collection of art pieces. In June , the same year, her first personal portraits was printed.
How I got to know about her?
My friend and I know about her a few years ago in a book fair, which was also exhibiting her work. We were impressed!!
When we first saw the painting in a distance, we thought it's just some photographs hang up on the wall. Never did we realize that they were painted and not taken on camera until we were quite near to one of them. She is able to bring the picture to live. The things that impressed us most, are the eyes. They look as if they can talk. As we continue to appreciate other pieces, we were told that these were done by using chalk.

Later it was make known to us that the artist was a 20 over yr old female artist and she was coming for an autograph session. How could we miss that !
Due to the big crowd Q up, the management told us that only 2 autographs allowed per time . So sad….in the end we only got 2.
She is quite nice looking with a bit of baby face. There's a self-portrait of her too and it's used as the cover of her own personal portrait collections.
