Doctor N.Vasilyev
bequeathed his
collection of
painting and
sculpture to the city of Kaluga before the Russian
Revolution. It got a base for "the Soviet art gallery" in 1918. Nowadays,
the gallery has more than 3,000 exhibits. Here you can see a small part of the collection. |
