1. My purpose in publishing these web pages is to enhance my various collections of stamps by exchanging my duplicate stamps for stamps I need to add to my collections. I realise this is idealistic as other collectors will probably have most of the duplicate stamps that I have and the matching of straight forward exchanges will be a rare event. Some element of cash adjustment will be necessary to complete most exchanges and simple sales and purchases will also occur. The terms which apply to exchanges, purchases and sales and any combination of these are as follows.

2. Exchanges will be made at equivalent Stanley Gibbons current catalogue values for individual stamps or for sets of stamps. Where the catalogue value totals do not match a cash adjustment of 40% of the difference in catalogue values will apply. Example: You can supply stamps from my wants lists valued at £10 but only require stamps from my exchange lists valued at £7 I would pay you £1.20 to complete the deal. If the situation was reversed you would pay me £1.20 to complete the deal.

3. All simple sales and purchases will be at 40% of the Stanley Gibbons current catalogue value except for mint Great Britain Decimal stamps which are offered for exchange at face value.

4. All stamps offered for exchange are good used unless otherwise stated and all stamps are offered subject to availability.

5. You agree to (a) return to me any stamps which are not acceptable to you and (b) accept back any stamps I return to you which are not acceptable to me and to return to me any stamps you may have previously accepted in exchange for these.

6. You and I will each be responsible for our own postage, when sending stamps I will obtain a Royal Mail Certificate of Posting and I recommend you to do the same. Where high values are involved I will use Recorded Delivery when sending stamps and I will pay or make adjustment for your additional costs if I request you to use Recorded Delivery when sending stamps to me.

7. As a member of the Great Britain Philatelic Society, the National Philatelic Society and the Rhodesian Study Circle I am prepared to forward stamps to fellow members of these Societies on approval. This also applies to members of other Philatelic Societies when I have confirmed their membership with an Official of their Society.

8. Where cash payments are involved in a transaction the method of payment will be agreed at the time the transaction is agreed.
