Sokvabek
The estate of Sága is called 'Sokvabek', and it rests under the deep water of a stream or 'Beck'.  According to the Eddas:

'Sokkvabekk a fourth is called and cool waves
resound over it;
there Odin and Saga drink everyday,
joyful, from golden cups.'

                                             fromThe Poetic Edda
                                          translated by Carolyne Larrington

In her hall, the water brought Sága the news of the day, which she remembered and retold as she and Odin sat together in the evening drinking from golden cups.  Therefore she is the Goddess of History.  Since she tells the stories, she is also the Goddess of the writer.  Her home is the writer's inspiration, the very air bringing tales to tell.
