Welcome, weary traveller, to the this art gallery dedicated to the holiday of Samhain. It is not as extensive as the other galleries housed within this section of the home of the Ice Rose, but that is mainly because the Ice Rose is not an artist. She is a master of words, not of the paintbrush.
These images that you see here are merely collected by her. She has not created any of them, merely pulled them together in one place to celebrate this favored night. She knows not who has created these pieces. If you recognize one, do let her know and she will give credit where credit is due.
Ice Rose, my mistress
Nothing is more sensual than a vampire properly preparing his victim for a meal. He is tender, sure, and seductive. He will make his victim long for the release the ecstasy of the Kiss will bring. A proper vampire is always sure that his victim is pleasured before the Kiss is enacted. This one is obviously proper, non?
The choosing of a victim is often something that takes quite a while. Many vampires are very picky about their victims, preferring only certain types of people or people of a certain age. Many times, a vampire must observe long and hard to find someone who may be suitable for her particular Kiss. This vampire waits for her victim to come near, obviously in need of the sustenance. She waits, fanged and ready, for whoever happens by . . . .
A silent, stone angel to watch over the water. Yet, this angel is not what she seems. Made of black stone, one must wonder who - or what - she is watching in that water. The water is in Italy somewhere. Perhaps she watches over a dead Giovanni? Perhaps a Ventrue? It is hard to say who she watches over, merely that she does . . . .
What gallery would be complete without the traditional image of the vampire kidnapping an innocent virgin? The Ice Rose found this image on the web somewhere and thought it would be an ironic addition to this gallery. Indeed it is. Most vampires do not kidnap. They do not need to. Being such sensual creatures, they merely have to seduce their victims to their will. A vampire needs not force a victim. All he needs is sweet words and his overwhelming presence. Such things cannot be resisted for long by most women and almost never by virgins. A woman wise in the ways of the world knows what the vampire is up to. A virgin does not. The passions aroused by the vampire in a virgin leaves them gasping and quivering, ready for anything the vampire desires . . . .
