Deathfrost is a weird band, its one of the bands that leaves you thinking
about their music and about the experimentation that they do in their
recordings: In fact this band uses distorted guitars but they use a lot
of electronic percussion and electronics sounds that give a sort of
industrial feeling to each of the songs. In tracks like "Search Area"
they have achieved a strange but catchy sound and rhythm, that is really
dense and original at the same time. The vocals on this recording are of
the guttural type but sometimes with a whispering style (not as you are
accustomed to listen in death or black metal bands). This is pure originality
and experimentation, I suggest to listen to it with a really open mind.
