This is just a series of poems I wrote when I was really young, but they're kinda cute so I added them here... Most of them are really silly, though....

My closet

Sometimes my closet is junky.
Sometimes my closet is neat.
Sometimes it smells of candy.
But sometimes it smells of feet!
It's filled with clothes, books and dolls,
Pictures, posters, and papers, all falling off the walls!
I really don't care,
If my parents scream and yell,
Because my closet is my closet,
and it suits me quite well!

Rain

Rain is mostly very light,
And very swift when it's in flight.
Rain can come in little drops,
But the they fall in big kerplops!

Who me?

The cookies are all gone and all I have to say is "Who me?"
The lights are all on and all I have to say is "Who me?"
The sink is overflowing and all I have to say is "Who me?"
The TV is left glowing and all I have to say is "Who me?"
There are toys in the hall and all I have to say is "Who me?"
There's lipstick on the wall and all I have to say is "Who me?"
The bathtub's full of tea and all I have to say is "Who me?"
My Mom is mad at me, and all I have to say is "I love you!"

Green is...

Grass on a summer morning,
A troop's uniforms,
Croaking frogs and hopping grasshoppers,
Vegetables cooking,
The pine trees in your backyard,
Pert Plus that makes your hair clean,
A slimy frog hoping along,
Honeydew melon,
Lemonade on a hot summer,
Fresh apples,
Tasty mints,
Waiting for springtime,
Church at Easter,
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day,
Observing Earth Day,
The deep, green jungle,
and this pen...
ALL OF IT'S GREEN!

Red...

Red shines like apples,
Drinks like punch,
And moves like glistening lips.
Red is the color of stoplights
....beckoning cars to stop.
Red is the roar of police sirens
And a lecture causeing a snore.
Red is the smell of cherry pie
....sitting under the door.
A day at the office,
Bundles of homework,
A sleepless night...
All of these are red.
A day of tears,
....Late for school.
These things are very red!
